Accommodation terms and conditions

Article 1 (Scope of application)

  1. Accommodation contracts and related contracts entered into by this hotel with guests shall be as stipulated in these terms and conditions. Matters not stipulated in these terms and conditions shall be based on laws and regulations or generally established customs. will do.
  2. If our museum agrees to a special agreement to the extent that it does not violate laws and customs, that special agreement shall take precedence, regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 2 (Application for accommodation contract)

  1. Those who wish to apply for an accommodation contract with this hotel must provide the following information to the hotel.
    1. Guest name
    2. Accommodation date and estimated time of arrival
    3. Accommodation charges (as a general rule, based on the basic accommodation charges in Attached Table 1)
    4. Applicant name and contact information
    5. Other matters deemed necessary by our museum
  2. If a guest requests to continue staying beyond the accommodation date specified in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during their stay, the hotel will treat the request as having been applied for a new accommodation contract at the time the request is made. .
  3. If you wish to apply for an accommodation contract with your pet at the hotel, please provide the following information to the hotel.
    1. Accommodation pet name, age, gender, breed, vaccination history
    2. Other matters deemed necessary by our museum

Article 3 (Establishment of accommodation contract, etc.)

  1. The accommodation contract shall be concluded when the hotel accepts the application set forth in the preceding article. However, this does not apply if the museum proves that it has not consented.
  2. When an accommodation contract is concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the application fee specified by the hotel, which is limited to the basic accommodation fee for the period of stay (or 3 days if it exceeds 3 days), must be paid by the date specified by the hotel. .
  3. The application fee will first be applied to the accommodation fee that the guest will ultimately have to pay, and in the event that the provisions of Article 6 and Article 18 apply, the application fee will be applied to the cancellation fee and then to the compensation. If there is any remaining amount, it will be returned at the time of payment of fees pursuant to the provisions of Article 12.
  4. If the application fee set forth in Paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Hotel pursuant to the provisions of the same paragraph, the Accommodation Contract shall become invalid. However, this only applies if the hotel notifies the guest of this when specifying the due date for payment of the application deposit.

Article 4 (Special agreement not requiring payment of application fee)

  1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, the Ryokan may accept a special agreement in which the payment of the application fee set forth in the same paragraph is not required after the conclusion of the contract.
  2. When accepting an application for an accommodation contract, if the hotel does not request the payment of the application fee set forth in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article or does not specify the payment date for the application deposit, it will be treated as acceptance of the special agreement set forth in the preceding paragraph. .

Article 5 (Refusal of conclusion of accommodation contract)

  1. The hotel may not accept the conclusion of an accommodation contract in the following cases:
    1. When the application for accommodation does not comply with these terms and conditions.
    2. When there are no rooms available due to full occupancy.
    3. When it is deemed that there is a risk that the person seeking accommodation may engage in acts that violate the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals regarding accommodation.
    4. When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to fall under any of the following A to C:
      1. Organized crime groups as defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991) (hereinafter referred to as "organized crime groups"), as defined in Article 2, Item 6 of the same Article Organized crime group members (hereinafter referred to as "organized crime group members"), associate members of organized crime groups, people associated with organized crime groups, and other anti-social forces.
      2. When an organized crime group or organized crime group member is a corporation or other organization that controls business activities.
      3. Corporations whose officers are members of organized crime groups

    6. When the person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease.
    7. When violent demands are made regarding accommodation or a burden that exceeds a reasonable range is demanded.
    8. When accommodation is not possible due to natural disasters, facility failures, or other unavoidable reasons.
    9. When the case falls under the provisions of Article 13 of the Saga Prefecture Hotel Business Ordinance.
  2. If you are staying at our hotel with a pet, we may not agree to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases:
    1. When the hotel determines that the pet staying at the hotel is likely to cause a nuisance to other guests or visitors (attacking, biting, chasing, barking, etc.)
    2. If it cannot be proven that the pet staying at the property has been vaccinated against rabies and "5-type combination" or higher within the past year.
    3. When there is a possibility that the pet staying overnight may be infected with an infectious disease.
    4. When it falls under any other matter predetermined by our facility.

Article 6 (Guest's right to cancel contract)

  1. Guests may cancel their accommodation contract by notifying the hotel.
  2. In the event that the guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the guest (in accordance with the provisions of Article 3, Paragraph 2, the hotel specifies the payment date of the application fee and requests payment). (excluding cases where the guest cancels the accommodation contract before the payment is made), a penalty fee will be charged in accordance with the provisions listed in Attached Table 2. However, if our hotel accepts a special agreement under Article 4, Paragraph 1, in accepting the special agreement, our hotel will notify the guest of the obligation to pay a penalty if the guest cancels the accommodation contract.   3. If the guest does not arrive by 8:00 p.m. on the day of the stay (or 3 hours after the scheduled arrival time if the guest has specified the expected arrival time in advance) without contacting the hotel, the hotel will The accommodation contract may be treated as having been canceled by the guest.

Article 7 (Right of our museum to cancel the contract)

  1. The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases.
    1. When the Guest is deemed to be at risk of committing an act that violates the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals regarding accommodation, or when it is recognized that the Guest has committed the same act.
    2. When the Guest is deemed to fall under any of the following A to C:
      1. Organized crime groups, organized crime group members, organized crime group associate members, organized crime groups, and other anti-social forces
      2. When an organized crime group or organized crime group member is a corporation or other organization that controls business activities.
      3. Corporations whose officers are members of organized crime groups
    3. When a guest engages in behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
    4. When a guest is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease.
    5. When violent demands are made regarding accommodation or a burden that exceeds a reasonable range is demanded.
    6. When accommodation is not possible due to reasons caused by force majeure such as natural disasters.
    7. When the case falls under the provisions of Article 13 of the Saga Prefecture Hotel Business Ordinance.
    8. Smoking while sleeping in the bedroom, tampering with firefighting equipment, etc., or not complying with any other prohibitions (limited to those necessary for fire prevention) stipulated by the hotel's rules of use.
  2. If you are staying at our hotel with a pet, the accommodation contract may be canceled if the pet falls under any of the following conditions.
    1. When the hotel determines that the pet staying at the hotel may cause trouble (attacks, biting, chasing, unnecessary barking, etc.) to other guests or visitors.
    2. If it cannot be proven that the pet staying at the property has been vaccinated against rabies and "5-type combination" or higher within the past year.
    3. When there is a possibility that the pet staying overnight may be infected with an infectious disease.
    4. When it falls under any other matter predetermined by our facility.
  3. When the hotel cancels the accommodation contract based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the guest will not be charged for accommodation services, etc. that have not yet been provided to the guest.

Article 8 (Registration of accommodation)

  1. Guests must register the following information at the front desk of the hotel on the day of their stay.
    1. Guest's name, age, gender, address and occupation
    2. For foreigners, nationality, passport number, place of entry, and date of entry
    3. Departure date and scheduled departure time
    4. Other matters deemed necessary by our museum
  2. If you are staying at our hotel with a pet, please register the following information.
    1. Accommodation pet name, age, gender, breed, vaccination history
    2. Other matters deemed necessary by our museum
  3. If the Guest intends to pay the charges set forth in Article 12 using a method that can be substituted for currency, such as a traveler's check, accommodation voucher, or credit card, the Guest must present these in advance at the time of registration as set forth in the preceding paragraph.

Article 9 (Guest room usage hours)

  1. Guests may use guest rooms at the hotel from 3:00 pm to 11:00 the next morning. However, if you stay for consecutive nights, you can use it all day except for the day of arrival and the day of departure.
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel may accept the use of guest rooms outside of the hours specified in the same paragraph. In this case, the following additional charges will be charged. (However, extended until maximum 12:00)

Article 10 (Compliance with usage rules)

  1. Guests must abide by the usage rules established by the inn and posted inside the hotel while inside the hotel.

Article 11 (Business hours)

  1. The business hours of the hotel's main facilities are as follows, and detailed business hours of other facilities will be announced on bulletin boards in various locations, information in guest rooms, etc.

  2. The time stated in the preceding paragraph may be changed temporarily if necessary. In that case, we will notify you by an appropriate method.

Article 12 (Payment of fees)

  1. The details of the accommodation charges, etc. to be paid by the Guest are as listed in Attached Table 1.
  2. Payment of the accommodation charges, etc. in the preceding paragraph shall be made in currency or by alternative methods approved by the Hotel, such as traveler's checks, accommodation coupons, credit cards, etc., at the front desk upon departure of the Guest or upon request by the Hotel. .
  3. Even if the guest voluntarily chooses not to stay after the hotel has provided a guest room to the guest and the guest is able to use the room, the accommodation fee will still be charged.

Article 13 (Responsibility of our museum)

  1. The hotel will compensate the guest for any damage caused to the guest due to the performance or nonperformance of the accommodation contract and related contracts. However, this does not apply if the damage is not due to reasons attributable to the hotel.
  2. Our hotel has inn liability insurance to deal with the unlikely event of a fire, etc.

Article 14 (Handling when contracted guest room cannot be provided)

  1. If the hotel is unable to provide the guest with the guest's contracted room, the hotel will, with the guest's consent, arrange for another accommodation facility with the same conditions as possible.
  2. If the hotel is unable to arrange other accommodations, regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel will pay the guest a compensation fee equivalent to the cancellation fee, and the compensation fee will be applied to the amount of damages. However, if there is no reason attributable to the hotel for the inability to provide a guest room, no compensation fee will be paid.

Article 15 (Handling of deposited items, etc.)

  1. In the event that goods, cash, or valuables left at the front desk by the guest are lost, damaged, or otherwise damaged, the hotel will compensate for the damage, unless the damage is caused by force majeure. However, with regard to cash and valuables, if the hotel requests the guest to declare the type and value of the item and the guest fails to do so, the hotel will compensate for the damage up to 100,000 yen.   2. In the event that any goods, cash, or valuables brought into the hotel by the guest and not deposited at the front desk are lost, damaged, or otherwise caused by intentional or negligent actions on the part of the hotel, the hotel will will compensate for the damage. However, for items for which the type and value have not been disclosed in advance by the guest, the hotel will compensate for damages up to 100,000 yen, unless there is intentional or gross negligence on the part of the hotel.

Article 16 (Storage of guest's baggage or personal effects)

  1. If the guest's baggage arrives at the hotel prior to his or her stay, the hotel will take responsibility for storing the baggage only if the hotel agrees to do so before the guest's arrival, and will hand it over to the guest when checking in at the front desk.
  2. In the event that the guest's baggage or personal effects are left behind at the hotel after the guest has checked out, the accommodation facility shall, as a general rule, wait for inquiries from the owner and request instructions. If there is no instruction from the owner or if the owner cannot be identified, valuable items will be kept for a maximum of 7 days including the date of discovery, and then delivered to the nearest police station, and other items will be disposed of after one month. . However, food, drinks, cigarettes, magazines, etc. will be disposed of on the same day.
  3. In the case of the preceding two paragraphs, our hotel's responsibility for the storage of the guest's baggage or personal effects shall be in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article in the case of Paragraph 1, and in the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the same Article in the case of the preceding paragraph. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1.
  4. In order to appropriately dispose of left behind baggage or personal effects according to the nature of the contents, this accommodation will inspect the contents at the discretion of the accommodation and, if necessary, return them to the owner or return them as described in the preceding paragraph. The Guest shall not raise any objections to this.

Article 17 (Parking Responsibility)

  1. When a guest uses the hotel's parking lot, the hotel rents the space and does not assume responsibility for the management of the vehicle, regardless of whether the vehicle key is entrusted to the guest. However, in the event that damage is caused intentionally or negligently by the hotel in managing the parking lot, the hotel will be held responsible for compensation.

Article 18 (Responsibilities of Guests)

  1. If the hotel suffers damage due to the guest's intentional or negligent act, the guest will be required to compensate the hotel for the damage.
    1. If it becomes difficult to sell the guest room due to a guest smoking (including electronic cigarettes) in the guest room or for any other reason, we will charge a special cleaning fee and a cost to sell the guest room.

  2. If a guest or an accompanying pet causes damage to the equipment in the guest room or causes stains or damage that requires cleaning, and this is confirmed, the hotel will be required to compensate the hotel for the damage even after check-out. .
