About accommodation

Please tell me the check-in and check-out times.
Check-in is from 15:00. Check-out is at 11:00.
*If you plan to arrive after 5:00pm, please contact us in advance.
* Guests with dinner included must arrive by 18:30.
I would like you to store my luggage before check-in and after check-out.
We will keep it at the front desk. Please feel free to ask the front staff.
Please note that we will only be able to store your luggage after check-out for the same day.
Please note that we cannot store valuables, fragile items, dangerous items, important documents, or perishable items.
I would like to send my luggage first by courier, but could you leave it at the hotel?

Is it barrier-free?
There is a slope from the parking lot to the entrance.
In addition, at our hotel, you will be asked to remove your footwear at the entrance, and you can generally move around the building without wearing them.
There are no steps inside the building, and although the main building is 4 stories tall, there is an elevator, so wheelchair access is not an issue.
The guest rooms are flat, but there is a step in the hot spring bath, so they are not completely barrier-free. (There are handrails in the bath.)
There are handrails in the large bath.
There are no steps from the changing room to the bath.
The rooms at Yasohachi Villa are larger than the rooms in the main house, so we believe it will be easier for wheelchair users to get around.

For visually impaired guests, there are braille blocks at the entrance and on the stairs of the main building. There are no braille signs.
Staff will provide written communication services for customers with hearing impairments.
Can I stay alone?
We sell solo travel plans.
Please note that the reception status varies depending on the dates, so please check the accommodation reservation page.

Can I stay with my pet?
We have rooms where you can stay with your dog.
These are two of the premium suite rooms in the Yasohachi Bettei (detached building).

<For guests with dogs>
* Up to two dogs weighing less than 10 kg, and up to one dog weighing between 10 kg and 20 kg are allowed to stay.
*Only dogs that have completed all vaccinations, are toilet trained, and can be kept in a cage are allowed.
*Please be sure to bring a certificate of rabies and 5 or more mixed vaccine vaccination within the past year when checking in.
*Please use the special entrance for dogs.
*Please refrain from bringing pets outside of your guest room.
*Dogs are not allowed in the guest room baths.
*Please clean up any loose hair yourself.
*After taking your dog outside, please clean its paws before entering the building.
*Please make sure to keep your dog in a cage when you leave it in the guest room or when you go to sleep at night.
*Please refrain from sleeping with your dog on the bed.
*If any guest rooms or facilities are damaged by your dog, we will charge you the full amount for cleaning and repair costs.
*If your dog is barking excessively or causing a nuisance to other customers, we may ask you to move your dog to the car.

Dogs stay free of charge (included in the room rate).

Only dogs are allowed to stay at the hotel. Cats and other pets are not allowed.
Dogs will be allowed into the rooms via a designated passageway. We ask that you refrain from leaving the rooms.
We do not provide food for dogs, so please prepare your own.
When you leave your room for a meal or other occasion, please leave your dog in its designated cage in the guestroom.
Can I get a massage at the inn?
Sorry, we do not offer beauty treatments or massages.
Aromatherapy treatments are available at our hotel.

Is there a shuttle service from Ureshino Onsen Station?
<Pick-up> We have pick-up options departing from Ureshino Onsen at 14:30, 15:20, and 16:20.
<Pick-up> We will take you to Ureshino Onsen Station from the inn at 10, 10, 10:40, or 10.
*Advance reservations are required, so please be sure to contact us.
Is there a parking lot.
There is a parking lot exclusively for guests staying at the hotel. Approximately 40 cars can be parked. Parking is free of charge.
Are tire chains necessary in winter?
Basically, it is not necessary. Please be careful when coming in bad weather.

About meals

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Will the meals change if I stay for consecutive nights?
Dinner can be changed for up to 3 days.
For breakfast, you can choose from Japanese or Western food, but we can change the menu for up to 2 days.
I made a reservation without meals, but can I eat at the restaurant on the day of the reservation?
Only available for those on meal plans.
If you wish, please make a reservation with a plan that includes breakfast and dinner.
I would like to bring alcohol, etc. to the dining venue.
You may bring drinks into the dining hall during dinner, but there will be a charge of 2,000 yen (excluding tax) for each drink. Please do not bring food into the dining venue.
What time are meals served at the accommodation?
Dinner time: For the prix fixe kaiseki and chef's choice kaiseki, there are two sessions: (1) 18:00 and (2) 19:30.
For charcoal grilled kaiseki meals, all meals will start at 18:30.
Please note that the time may change depending on the situation.

There are two sessions: (1) 8:00 and (2) 9:00.
Can I request a private room at the restaurant?
There is also a private dining room. Priority will be given to guests staying in rooms at Yajuhachi Bettei. Customers in the main building will basically be shown in a semi-private room.
What kind of meals do you have?
We offer a Kaiseki meal centered around Japanese cuisine (prix fixe style where you can choose 3 out of 8 courses from several menus).
Customers who choose the charcoal-grilled counter Kaiseki plan will enjoy their meals at the charcoal-grilled counter ``Sumibi Yoshimura'' inside the restaurant ``Oritsumi.''
When you check in, you can choose between Japanese or Western breakfast.
Can I eat in my room?
We are sorry, but we cannot serve meals in your room. Meals will be served at the restaurant.
Please tell me about the facilities in the guest rooms.
Equipped with a toilet (washlet), free Wi-Fi, Airweave beds (2 double beds / 140cm x 200cm), 65-inch 4K TV, humidifier/air purifier, refrigerator, hair dryer, kettle, etc.

About the room

Is there a smoking room?
Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel, in guest rooms, and on guest room balconies (including electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, and heated tobacco). There is a smoking area on the first floor of the main building, so please use that area.
Do you have any rooms with an open-air bath?
Luxury Suite, Premium Suite, and Comfort Deluxe rooms have a semi-open-air bath.
Junior Deluxe rooms are rooms with hot spring baths that do not open windows.
The sizes of the semi-open-air baths are as follows.

We have auxiliary toilet seats, bedwetting pads, cribs, bed guards, baby baths, baby bath chairs, bouncers, diaper trash cans, soap for infants, and bath toys. If you would like one, please let us know as soon as possible as the number is limited.

The large public bath is equipped with a ``dry sauna'' and an ``auto-row sauna'' for men and women.
Luxury suite rooms are also equipped with a ``Self-Low Sauna.''
I have a tattoo. Can I use the public bath?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we do not allow people with tattoos to enter the bath. Please use the bathroom in your room.
Do you have a private bath?
We are sorry, but we do not have private hot springs available. Please use the bathroom in your room.
Are there towels and amenities in the public bath?
Towels are provided in the public bath.
Large bath amenities:

Is there a day trip bath?
We are sorry, but the hot springs are not open for day trips.
Are there any age restrictions for bathing in the large hot spring baths?
There is no age restriction, but please use the facility under parental responsibility and be careful not to cause inconvenience to other customers.
Please refrain from bringing children who are still in diapers into the baths.
Additionally, mixed bathing with children of the opposite sex is limited to preschool children only.

Are there any restaurants nearby where I can eat?
There are restaurants, pubs, Italian restaurants, etc. in Ureshino City. Please ask the front desk for details.
